Different Comet Building Sets were sold in Eastern Europe and the USA. Some of the USA sets contain designs containing American themes. These designs show a good deal of ignorance of America. The design shown below is my favorite. It shows a fort in the West, with Indians camped inside the fort and a soldier outside "protecting" the Indians from some unknown enemy. Only the entrance of the fort was to be reproduced in Comet stones. The saddle blanket displays a "US", which is a little hard to see in this copy. One of our American members, Brian Martinson, Fremont, CA, is the expert on these unusual sets.
